Bobby DeAngelo Johnson

Bobby DeAngelo Johnson (“OG”) was born on May 8, 1976 in the Hart County Hospital to Sarah Jackson and Bobby Johnson Sr.  He departed into eternal life on March 22, 2023 peacefully in the house in which he was raised by his deceased grandparents, Sam & Addie Simpson.  

Bobby graduated from Franklin County High school in 1994. He graduated from North GA Tech and finished with a degree in welding. He attended Broad River Baptist Church and visited Holy Calvary MRF Church often. He was always the life of the party, dancing, cracking jokes and having fun. He was the master of the grill and everyone looked forward to eating his food. Bobby was a true friend to his home boys and would give the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Bobby was preceded in death by his grandparents and sister, Patrice Johnson. He leaves to mourn, his mother, Sarah (Ronnie) Jackson and Father, Bobby Johnson Sr.  He always referred to his aunt Alice Jones as his “Second Mama” and was dedicated to caring for his uncle, Victor Jones.  He took pride in being an example father for his God Children, Rico Blackwell, Shaquana Blackwell and Shakima Price and 4 grandchildren. A loving brother to his sister, Pamela Johnson and a brother, Terry Madsen. He will always be cherished by his aunts and uncles who helped raise him as their own son. He was known as “brotha” to all his cousins and will be missed dearly by friends, family and the community.
