Chanin E Mayfield, Sr.

Chanin Emil Mayfield, Sr., 32, was born on January 6, 1990, and departed his life on July 5, 2022. Chanin was the child of the late Horace Mayfield of Toccoa, GA and Anita & Tommy Davis of Cornelia, GA.

 

He joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church at an early age. He was preceded in death by his wife Carman Simmons Mayfield, brother Clement Mayfield, and grandmothers Christine Howard & Annie Laura Mayfield.

 

He leaves to cherish his memories, 3 sons Chanin Mayfield, Jr., Cultan Mayfield and Nahki Brown. He had 3 brothers, Avero Howard, Horace D. (Shannon) Mayfield, and Gilbert Mayfield. 2 step-brothers, Corey & Michael Davis, 2 step-sisters, Tammy Davis & Revonda (Monzo) Lopez. He leaves behind 12 nieces, 5 nephews, 1 great-nephew and 2 great-nieces, as well as his mother-in-law Esther Rayton.

 

Chanin was loved by many, he never met a stranger. He was a dedicated father and loving husband. He also loved to be around his family.
