Essie Haynie Mosley

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Essie Mosley. She was born in Toccoa, Georgia to her loving parents and spent her entire life in Toccoa surrounded by her family and friends. Essie passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton on June 1, 2023.

Essie will always be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and cherished every moment she had with them. Her kindness and generosity were unmatched, and she always went out of her way to make others feel comfortable and at ease. Her great sense of humor brought smiles to the faces of all who knew her.

One of Essie's proudest accomplishments was her love for singing. She sang soprano in the Friendship Baptist Church Young Adult Choir for many years, bringing joy to countless congregants with her beautiful voice.

Essie's funeral services will take place at Friendship Baptist Church located at 244 S Sage St, Toccoa, GA 30577 on June 6th, 2023. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, followed by burial at Toccoa City Cemetery on Cooper St at 2:00 pm.

As we bid farewell to Essie Mosley, we take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones who passed before her. Her memory will always remain close to our hearts, and we will forever be grateful for the time we had with her.
