Mr. Gilbert Lee Scott, Jr. was born December 11, 1950, in Lavonia, GA, to the late Gilbert L. Scott, Sr. and Mary Ruth Scott of Lavonia, GA.

Mr. Gilbert Scott was brother to William H. Scott (deceased), Mary K. Scott, Sarah Francis Mills (deceased), Ann Scott Lett, Earl Scott (deceased), Harvey Scott, Herbert Scott (deceased), Joyce Scott Cherry (deceased), Junior Scott, Barbara Stegall, Reginald Scott. All in which he loved very dearly.

Celebrating the life of Gilbert Lee Scott, Jr., a beautiful heart, a warm smile, a heart filled with kindness, and genuine love that he generously shared with everyone around him. His compassion and selflessness touched countless lives, leaving a lasting impact that continues to inspire them.

Mr. Gilbert/Gabby/Lee exemplified an extraordinary amount of love and joy, radiating warmth and happiness in every aspect of his life. His unwavering love for his family and friends was evident in his daily actions, from the smallest gestures to the grandest acts of kindness.

His joyful spirit was contagious, lighting up any room he entered and bringing smiles to everyone he met. My Dad's ability to spread love and joy was a true gift, and his legacy continues to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He leaves three (3) beautiful daughters, Shameka Scott (Atlanta, GA), Myshonda Smith (Anderson, SC), and Christina Howard (Toccoa, GA), to cherish his loving memory. He also leaves two (2) grandsons, a granddaughter, and a fat grandcat to cherish his loving memory.
