Jacqueline Denise Taylor-Perry was born in Gainesville, GA on January 15th, 1961 to the late Lester Lee Taylor and Josie Verdean Bowens. Jacqueline “Jackie” was raised with the love of her siblings who preceded her in death Frankie Taylor and Angela Burton.  Jackie attended East Hall High School in Gainesville, Ga where she completed her education and started a family shortly afterward giving union to four beautiful children:  Jeanette (Eric) Ridgeway and children Hurby (two grands from his union) Jackie, Jeremiah,  Elijah RIDGEWAY -Melissa and children Breana & Natasha  WESTBROOK  - Joanna and daughter  Shaneena WESTBROOK  - Jermaine (Jalissa) and children Jamila Rose & Jabari Cole CASEY - God Son Charles Maurice Boyer II an Honorary Son Derek(Alicia)  Katz and children Anna Anderson & Arya Katz.

She worked for Northeast Ga. Medical Center for 5 years before meeting her help and soulmate Clay Edward Perry. Jackie let go of all her cares of work when she was granted a proposal that changed her life. Mr. Clay Edward Perry: Sr. contracted Jackie that if she gave up her current job and place in residency and take his hand in marriage, she would never have to work or want for anything again.  Jackie took up her love at his word and the rest was history. Jackie resided in Toccoa, Ga. with her new extended family making her family so large that she was overflowing with love and happiness. To this union of marriage on February 17, 1996, She now shared a bond with her gained children also left to cherish her memory: Clay Jr. and children Q'Naih, Zhy, Kumali, Kamiera, Cailah & Carter PERRY  - Darnell (Rasheeda) and children Lamont Stanton, Xaria Rose, Malik & Dakara PERRY.  - Tanisha (Michael) and children Makayla & Bryanna WHITNEY.  -Eric Tremaine (Valerie) Malachi, LeAisha, Diamond & Jazmyne PERRY

There were tons of love and laughter over the years. Jackie better known by the family as “Boot” given to her by her love, enjoyed being in the presence of her family and friends. Jackie had an infectious laugh and smile that lit the room when she came across your path. To know Jackie is to know her love for being glammed up, from her nails to her clothing, from her lipstick to her long flowing passion twist locks. She was truly a fashion lover and enjoyed dressing up. She had many joys such as dancing, singing (for the Lord), and being such an amazing cook as she enjoyed preparing wholesome meals for her husband and family.

Jackie was a true Christian and lover of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jackie came to Lord at a young age when she was a member of Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Lula, Ga. She joined the choir there as a young teen where she remained a faithful member before uniting with her new home here in Martin, Ga. with Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Jackie gave her soul to the Lord and never turned back. As a Christian woman full of faith, she was known to give God praise wherever and whenever she sought fit. A true soldier in the army, Jackie was not ashamed of the gospel. Praying on her knees nightly for protection over her family and giving thanks for those things the Lord has already done. “BOOT” will truly and surely be missed. She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy all her children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers-in-law, a host of nieces and nephews, countless cousins, extended family, and friends.
