Kenneth Jones

Mr. Kenneth Lamar Jones (Musty) was born in Carnesville, GA on June 28, 1958 to the late Dozier Jones and Amogene Mayfield Jones. He departed this earthly life on April 19, 2023 at the Brown Health and Rehabilitation Center in Royston, GA.

Mr. Jones loved the Lord and his trust and faith was in him. He attended Franklin County school system and was the first black basketball player in Franklin County. After high school Mr. Jones joined the army, later he worked for Chic O-Pee Manufacturing and Royston Manufacturing for a period of time. He later went on to be self-employed as an auto body mechanic.

He leaves to cherish fond memories to his sons. Terry Lamar (Aishia) Jones, Virginia Beach,VA and Patrick (Cortelyou) Williams of Royston, GA and one daughter, Veronica Jones of Toccoa, GA.
Grandchildren: Eboni Jones, Tervor Jones, Kiewom Reece, Sexly William, Eboni Williams, Asia Williams, Taeshun Maxwell, Jasiah Maxwell, Ashunni Jackson, Quanyaih Perry, Zhyqevius Perry, Kumali Perry, Kamlera Perry. One sister; Betty Butler, a host of  nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. Honorary grandson, Tray Jones.
