Ms. Linda C. Higginbotham was born on December 16, 1957, to the late Sam and Margaret Carvin. She departed this life on January 15, 2026, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, following an extended illness.

She grew up in Toccoa, Georgia, where she attended school and later married the late Leonard C Higginbotham.

Linda was employed for over 25 years with GEM Southeast (ASI), form which she retired. She was a faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church until her health began to fail. 

She had seven siblings, all of Toccoa, Georgia: Robbie Banks, Betty Simpson, Sam Carvin (Sharon), Billy Carvin (Sally), Troy Carvin, William Carvin, and Sonja Fruster (Johnny), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
