Mae Sam Harrison

Ms. Mae Sam Harrison was born July 27, 1939, in Oconee, SC, to the late SJ Harrison and Mary Elizabeth Poole Harrison Haymond.

Mae Sam became a member of St. Mark Baptist Church in her early life. She worked at Stephens County Head Start. Later, she became a caregiver for the State of Georgia, where she retired in her early 60s.

Mae Sam is preceded in death by her parents, SJ Harrison and Mary Haymond; brothers, Milton, James, George, and Rosco Harrison.

She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Ethel Collins; a brother, LJ (Mabel) Harrison; a special friend, Frankie Mae; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
