Phillis Brown

Miss Phillis Brown was born January 11, 1954 to the late William Bill and Viola O. Brown. She transitioned to eternal rest on June 10, 2022 at the home of her daughter. Phillis confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She told her children, no, I may not go to church but I know who the Lord is. Miss Phillis was preceded in death by her father and mother. Mr. William and Mrs. Viola Brown, 2 brothers, Mr. Edward Brown and Mr. Dan Owens, grandparents, Mr. Ernest and Mrs. Dora Brown as well as Mr. Lewis K. and Mrs. Beulah M. Owens and the love of her life, Mr. Melvin Reese, 2 nephews, Willie Brown and Ashley Arthur and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruthie Brown and other family members, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Miss Phillis loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, three children. 1 daughter; Mrs. Sheary (Curtis) Crump, 2 sons, Mr. Harold (Connie) Brown and Mr. Anthony (Christen) Brown all of Toccoa, Ga. 3 grandchildren, Miss Tametricus Reese, Mrs. Tulisha Johnson and Mr. Willdreques Reese all of Toccoa, GA. One brother, Mr. Willie Jr. Brown of Sautee, Ga and one sister, Mrs. Mary Francis Parks of Toccoa, Ga.  2 Aunts, Mrs. Dorothy Fruster and Mrs. Martha Maxwell both of Toccoa, GA. Also to cherish her memory, 34 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren. Out of all those sweet babies, Monica, Shieatta, Sherreka, Lakeysha, Joshus was her chosen babies. Phillis also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
