Prince Ed Nicely was born the late Prince Alvin and Ruthie Lene Nicely on April 6, 1945, in White County. Prince went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2024.
Prince's favorite thing to do was detailing cars. Prince loved to watch all types of sports, and listen to many genres of music. He also loved to spend time with family. He was loved by everyone that knew him, and was always respectful to everyone.
He was a member of Bean Creek Baptist Church for many years, but after moving to Toccoa, he joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He was mostly self- employed. He worked for several dealerships detailing cars.
Prince is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sausha; 4 sisters, Silva, Mary Frances, Ruthie, and Delores, and a grandson, Darius.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Beverly; 1 daughter, Yakima; 2 sons, Prince Jr. and Scott Dorsey; 21 Grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Leslie and Emma Lou; 3 brothers, Jody, Willis (Charlene), and John; 5 sister in-laws, Laverne, Deborah, Cathy, Aurelia, Glory; 4 brother in-laws, Gary, Ruben, Jeffery, and Cory; 2 special friends, Carolyn Trammell and Sherry Cash; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
