Shirley "Jean" Webb Earl

Shirley “Jean” Earl was born March 8, 1956, to the late J.P. and Lillian Ann Webb in Stephens
County. She departed into eternal life May 29, 2023, at Brown Health and Rehabilitation, after
an extensive illness.

Shirley was known as Jean to her family and friends. She graduated from Stephens County High
School in 1974. She joined the Hurricane Grove Baptist Church at a young age and continued to
attend there until her health failed. She loved going to church and her church family. She
worked within the food industry and retired after 20 years of service. Jean was a community
person and would donate time, food, and money to many different community or church
functions. She was a person of many words and kept the up-to-date news of how family and
friends were doing, so she could add them to the prayer list at church services.

Jean was married in 1977 to Larry James Earl. To this union of love and marriage 3 daughters
were born. She is preceded in death by her father; J.P. Webb and 2 brothers; Oscar and Michael
Webb.

She leaves to cherish her memories; her spouse: Larry James Earl, 3 daughters: Macie Earl of
Carnesville, Ga, Mahilda Earl and Moria (Tracy Harris) Earl of Lavonia, Ga, 2 step-daughters:
Bridgett (Freeman) Hill of Canon, Ga and Erica (Tony Seay) Morrison of Kennesaw, Ga, 1 bonus
son: Tyson Morrison, 2 sisters: Sarah Johnson of Martin, Ga and Annie Ruth Webb of Toccoa,
Ga, 1 brother: George Webb, 3 sister-in-laws: Cheryl Jones, Janice (Charles) Hardy, and Glenda
Verdell, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandson, special friends: Elaine
Niccum, Rebecca Pinkston, Sandra Moore, and Lucille Hall, and an abundance of nieces,
nephews, and friends.
