Wanda V. Johnson

Wanda Vanette Johnson was born in Elberton, Ga on August 8, 1970 to Mr. Willie Frank Burton and the late Mrs. Glenda Lee Fortson Willis. She entered into eternal rest on April 4, 2023 at the Northeast GA Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

 

Wanda was a loveable person. She loved everyone. She was a dialysis patient for 18 years but she
always had a smile knowing God would make a way. She was a faithful member of the Holy Calvary MRF Church in Lavonia, Ga., and her favorite song was “Way Maker” by Sinach. Wanda met the love of her life, Mr. Marcus Johnson and they married on Dec. 3, 2015. They spent all together 9 loving years together until God called her home.

Preceding her in death was her mother, Glenda L. Fortson Willis, grandmother, Hennie Fortson,
Grandfather, William Davis and a host of aunts and uncles.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her husband, Mr. Marcus Johnson, son, Andre (Stephanie)
Burton of Lavonia, GA, Daughter, Kristen Odister of Alto, GA, granddaughter, Akeria Christian, Father,
Mr. Willie Frank Burton of Elberton, Ga, Brother, Nelson (Lillie) Burton of Elberton, Ga, Sisters, Alfreda
(Fredrick) Williams of Elberton, Ga and Nikki Burton of Hartwell, Ga.
